Popcorn Machine Instructions
SET UP:
Put the Popcorn machine on a
sturdy Table out of the weather (under a Marquee or roof). One
appliance per power outlet and then flick on the 'warmer' switch
on to warm up the cabinet.
POPPING POPCORN:
Turn the 'kettle heat'
switch on and the 'mixer' switch on. Let the kettle warm up for
about 30 seconds and then add the oil. Let the oil melt for
about 10 seconds and then add the corn kernels, now sprinkle the
butter salt over the kernels and close the lid and wait for it
to start popping. Once they are vigorously popping... turn off
the heat switch and then wait until the kernels stop. Once they
have stopped popping; immediately dump your popcorn (or it will
burn). To keep popping repeat. Simply turn the kettle heat
switch back on; and repeat the process.
Once you have finished
popping; switch off the mixer and the kettle heat switches.
Note: don't leave the kettle on or it
will burn out the kettle and smoke.
CLEANING
Make sure all switches are in the
off position and disconnect the power cord. Scoop out remaining
popcorn and remove the waste tray at the bottom of the machine.
Discard popcorn waste and wipe out the inside of the cabinet and
the inside of the kettle with paper towel. Wipe the
accessories and the waste tray and place back inside the unit.
We will clean the machine on return.
WARNING:
do not disassemble the unit or wash the kettle. (Popcorn kettles
cost $350.00 to replace).
